I spent a long time looking for a fabric that had that "wow" in it. Not because of the color. Not because of a print. Not because of a big logo. Because of the fabric itself. I wanted you to pick up this tracksuit and instantly feel the difference. Seriously dense. Thick. Heavy. The kind that actually has weight. It doesn't float on you like thin cotton. It drapes, holds its shape and has a presence of its own. You feel you're wearing a proper piece of fabric.
It took some effort. Along the way we tested different solutions. There was even an idea involving silk. In the end, simplicity won. Because with a fabric like this, I didn't want to overcomplicate anything. At the wrists and ankles we made thick, soft cuffs. A little fluffy. They add warmth, but above all they build the silhouette and make this heavy fabric fall exactly the way I wanted. I kept the design calm. No madness.
The only stronger detail is the metal weights. Cool. Heavy. Precise. A small element that reminds you that even when we make an ordinary tracksuit, we can't leave it completely ordinary. And there's no bigger philosophy here. I wasn't inspired by the desert. Not by a supercar. Not by a game. I needed a tracksuit. The one I put on when I want peace and quiet, but still want to feel I'm wearing something really good. I couldn't find exactly that.
So I made it. TRACKSUIT 01. Karl Tomas. Sometimes you just need a fucking good tracksuit.
